I always knew I wanted to be a veterinarian. I started riding with my dad on farm calls when I was just 3 or 4 years old. I was born in Munich, Germany while my dad was stationed there in the Army Veterinary Corps. We moved back to the United States when I was only 2 months old.
I attended Veterinary School at Texas A&M University (whoop!!) and graduated in 1985. Obtained my certification from IVAS – International Veterinary Acupuncture Society – for Veterinary Acupuncture in 1995. In 2011 I found an interest in low level laser therapy (Cold Laser) which I have found to be very rewarding.
